The first thing that Isaac will be informed of by Kendra is that The Necromorphs are bio-recombinators which absorb dead flesh and mold it into new forms. An Admin Room has been created in the Mining Administration Hall and once the junction box is activated, an Infector will enter the room. They will also have the ability to detect the presence of a human being in this room.
As Isaac enters the cargo room, he sees the Engineer and tells him that there is a leak in the power plant and needs to be fixed. After he enters the room, he notices that the Engineer is dead and not moving. Quickly, he activates the elevator and leaves the room.
